At JM Upholstery we specialise in Made to measure Mechanisms, being able to replicate 95% of all mechanisms, whether its 2 years old or 20 years old, even if the same spec is not available we will try to produce a compatible replacement where possible. (excluding some Italian design mechs and lift / riser mechs)

We have built up extensive knowledge of all types of recliner mechanisms and can make up a replacement from photos and measurements for delivery within 2 - 5days.

JM-Mechanisms are of the highest grade / Quality steel, and safely/securely packaged for courier transporting. we allow between 2 - 5 days for delivery from the day of order placed, all sent on a next day courier service.
we have a standard £17.50 delivery charge to cover the postage and packaging on mechanisms


When placing an order for a Replacement recliner Mechanism, whether its just the one required or multiple, 
1) Firstly you need to select whether its a manual or electric recliner mechanism required, 
2) Select the options of design chair/sofa, 
3) Enter the 2 measurements 
4) Upload the photo of the seat box for us to identify the spec.

This can be done on our online ordering system, we have 3 products below of ways to order either manual mechanism or electric mechanism with full details submitted on the product page for us to process as quickly as possibly, or the 3rd product being via email which if you prefer to send over photos to us or have issues uploaded files on our site if photos are too large etc you can place the order here still to make the payment with photos sent over on email quoting your order umber so we can match the email to the order.
We then process if we can make up to details submitted [updating your order status] or contact you for further details.

ALL MECHANISMS ARE NOW SUPPLIED FLAT PACKED, SCISSOR SIDES WITH ALL INTERNAL BARS AND BOLTS TO FIT ON SITE / IN-HOME AS A COMPLETE KIT REPALCEMENT.

we have full technical support available to help with the process start to finish of a mechanism order, ordering the correct replacement to fitting the new mech into the sofa / chair.
